Hi! My name is Sarah and I am the face behind Glimpse Creations. I am an award winning jewelry designer and lifestyle blogger who recently spent 5 years living in Paris France. Here I will share my adventures in Paris, Fashion, Crafting and Food!

Back in France!

Well, after taking some time in Canada I am now back in France!  I am now living with my fiance in a small village about a 30 min, train ride outside of Paris.  It is nice to experience a new way of life in France.  For the past four years, I have only known living in Paris where it is hectic and noisy 24 hours a day!  Now, in this new village it is quiet and peaceful.  We live across from a beautiful chateau where I am able to take walks and read a book in the quiet gardens.  Every Wednesday and Saturday there is a market in the main street which sells everything from clothing to fruit and veggies.

While I am back in France, I will be busy working on all new jewelry designs and embroidery pieces.  I have set up my embroidery frame and I am all ready to create beautiful beaded pieces.  My Haute Couture Embroidery is a technique that I learned here in Paris from Lesage (an atelier owned by Chanel).  To read more about my embroidery adventure click here!

I will also be attending Paris Fashion Week again this September, so keep an eye out for my blog updates straight from the runway!  In the meantime, I will also be taking some small trips around Europe and will be sharing my traveling adventures on this blog as well!!  I am looking forward to the next few months and I hope you enjoy following along with my Parisian life!

Hi Jane! The name of this town is Rambouillet. It is close to Versaille and you are able to get there by train from Paris. It is a beautiful little town and worth the trip outside of Paris.
